Haags Comedy Festival 2015

International edition

It’s time to enchant, to delight, to fascinate yourself by the Hague Comedy Festival in 2015, a high-profile festival that offers workshops for children, improv workshops in English, two semi-finals and a spellbind finale in December. Besides the competition, we also offer talent nights and workshops. The Hague Comedy Festival distinguishes itself from other festivals by its international partnerships and international tours to New York, Dublin, London, Edinburgh, Zagreb, Berlin, Madrid and Barcelona.

In October the comedians are selected for the third edition of The Hague Comedy Festival. On Wednesday, October 28th, we kick off the Haags Comedy Festival with international talents at the Haags Pop Centrum during the Haagse Pop Maand. The Kroepoekfabriek will be filled with laughter again this year during the Komedie Kafe Talent Night on November 27th 2015. The international competition will take place from 11-13 December 2015 at O'Casey's Irish Pub.

Six European comedy clubs sent a representative to the semi-finals in The Hague, the city of peace and justice. During the semi-finals on 11 and 12 December the six international comedy talents will compete on stage for a spot in the grand finale. Only the best four comedians will take part of the grand finale on December 13th. They will be vying for the Jury Award, the Audience Award and Personality Award. The winner of the Jury award will get a ricket to New York. Of course, international comedians will host and headline the finals, giving it that extra comedy kick! The first two editions where a success, so you certainly don’t want to miss the Haags Comedy Festival.

Tickets for the semi-finals and Grand Finale are 15 € / 12,50 € students at the door and available online from November 1st @ www.haagscomedyfestival.

Haags Comedy FestivalFoundation aims to achieve sustainable comedy infrastructure in The Hague. It offers accessible, socially engaged arts with a focus on talent development. This is the only Comedy Festival in The Hague, which is accessible for a small price. It’s the only English competition in the Benelux.
